Hi... Wow, have I really been gone that long? *eyes the dust gathering on the keyboard*

Well, I happen to be browsing around on Amazon and found this link *click* which got me wondering. Here's some of the info:

Paperback: 192 pages
Publisher: Blu (November 30, 2005)
Language: English
ISBN: 1598160109

Is Sakura Crisis going to stop working on Love Mode now? Or has this issue already come up in the message boards and I've missed it?

Anyway, I also wanted to say hi to everyone one (it's probably been about a year since I posted *gasp*). Also, I've never heard of Blu Publishing... anyone have any extra info?

Thanks,
Crystal

I'm almost positive that Blu is a subdivision of Tokyopop. Since Blu licensed Earthian and Tokyopop said that they License earthian. But as for what SC will do, I have no Idea I hope they finish the current book though

XD I have no idea of what you are talking about.

My first point would be that you should probally edit that first post of yours so that the cap lock is working normally, if you please ^^;;

Second, Hibi no Awa, if I have the right serie (this one?) is a doujinshi of PoT. Sc.net did a bunch of doujinshi and they never replaced any long on-going series. As generally one-shots, they are faster to come out maybe only because they are faster to work on. you are confusing two very different projects. ^^

Last, if this is what you are asking about and that as have already been said in this same very tread: no, sc.net will not scanlated the last 3 volumes of love mode. Love Mode will be published by Blu - thanks Crystallyne for the info ^^ - and as such that project will be dropped. Scanlations teams want to promotes manga that haven't been published in the language they are working with, not give an entire serie in jpg format. It may take painfully long, but the last 3 volumes of Love Mode will be released in english by this publisher, and we would like to encourage everyone to buy it from them then. After all, nothings beats having the original paper format. ^__^

I hope I've answered your questions, and welcome on the board =)

yeah that's true, it is a good thing for all of them to get licensed so now we can all support the artist by buying their stuff that, BTW, rocks!

I have to agree with Yue and aikasan. Reading scanlations is alright, but actually having the manga copy is ten times better!

I hope Blu doesn't take forever to release their works. And does anyone know what happened to the Viewfinder series that was licensed and *supposed* to have Volume 1 released already? (Just curious...)

Also, the current 'Boys Love' series seem to be selling at a slightly higher MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price) i.e. $15.99 vs. the usual $9.95-$10.99 that most manga runs. Still, I don't mind supporting the industry at all, especially if they keep picking fantastic series to release!
